The curtain coating machine draws the liquid paint from the paint box into the precise knife bit and down like a waterfall as the materials pass through the paint curtain on the conveyor at high speed. This type separates the conveyors from the machine body, preventing any shaking that could affect the waterfall coating effect and avoiding waves and uneven coating.

The main knife body uses a mechanical flip-style tool bit rather than a traditional air-cylinder type. Fine manufacturing allows one wheel to adjust the wider curtain coating machine, enabling the paint waterfall to be evenly and easily distributed. More screws on the knife allow more precise adjustment of coating thickness, especially for wide-board coating. A larger knife paint cavity can support greater paint flow.
The aluminium alloy knife body of our curtain coating machine is precision-manufactured with T6 heat treatment, surface planishing, and electroplating. Automatic planishing equipment ensures the knife surface is extremely even, maintaining a consistent paint-coating thickness. The main parts of the knife are electroplated to prevent rusting and ensure long-term operation.
The curtain coating machine comprises three parts: two conveyors and an independent knife body. The conveyors automatically detect the board position and adjust the conveying speed accordingly, while the independent knife body precisely adjusts the knife head height via lifting and lowering mechanisms, or adjusts the gap between the knife heads to control coating thickness and achieve various coating effects.
Our curtain coating machines offer a choice of a large-flow paint heating and filtering box or a small-flow paint filtering box to match the different characteristics of UV or polyurethane coatings. They ensure that air bubbles and other impurities are removed from the paint before use, while the low-speed, heavy-duty impeller pump ensures a stable supply to the machine's knife body.
