When the wide belt sanding machine is operating, the high-speed rotating grinding wheel drives the sanding belt to precisely sand the workpiece surface. The amount of sanding in one pass exceeds 0.5mm, ensuring that the surface of the raw material is flat, smooth, and uniform in thickness, thereby achieving optimal substrate flatness and coating adhesion for subsequent coating processing.
The core components of our wide belt sanders are all high-quality parts that have been proven in the market over a long period of time, such as Omron photoelectric sensors from South Korea, Kuroda solenoid valves from Japan, low-voltage electrical appliances from LS from South Korea and Chint from China, PLCs and frequency converters from Delta from Taiwan, and MCGS LCD screens, to ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
Not limited to a single model, we offer customized designs to meet diverse needs. For example, when working independently, we recommend the configuration with a lifting worktable; when connected to a coating line, we recommend the configuration with a lifting sanding frame. Depending on the thickness and hardness of the materials, we offer a wider range of sanding units, including single-sander and triple-sander frames.
This wide-belt sanding machine features a fixed worktable design. Double-sanding frames move vertically to adjust machining clearance, facilitating production line connection and avoiding workpiece edge damage from the sanding belt.
Thanks to its advanced configuration, this wide-belt sander's feed inlet supports automatic, precise detection of each workpiece's thickness and transmits the data to the PLC control system to enable a fully automated sanding process.
The sanding axis features a sturdy 9mm seamless steel pipe paired with an eccentric shaft core and an NSK bearing. It's carefully crafted to maintain a balance error of just around ±0.02mm, preventing any missed or uneven sanding.
After carefully sanding the raw material, gently use this wide aluminium alloy pad to polish the surface once more. This helps to remove any remaining burrs and leaves the surface smooth and even, ensuring a consistent thickness throughout.
Each spindle is securely mounted on a separate sturdy hanging plate to ensure stable and reliable operation. Sanding deviation can be conveniently corrected by reversing the screw rotation, with each turn providing a precise 0.1mm adjustment.
The front sanding frame employs a cylinder-driven eccentric shaft mechanism for lifting while in standby mode. It can rapidly elevate the shaft during emergency shutdowns, thereby effectively preventing surface scratches and material damage.
A swing-type air-blowing device is mounted above the sanding belt to continuously clear dust during processing. It optimizes sanding quality and noticeably extends the service lifespan of the sanding belt, making the process more efficient.
A heavy air cylinder with a larger diameter, improved sealing, and increased durability ensures stable and accurate operation of the lifting heads. The main, heavy motor remains close to the ground to maintain stability and minimize vibration.
