Paint Drying Oven
Paint drying ovens, engineered for coatings with diverse formulations, cure paint films instantly using targeted ultraviolet wavelengths that trigger photochemical reactions. Alternatively, they uniformly heat coated workpieces with infrared radiation, circulating hot air, or high-temperature thermal energy, accelerating solvent evaporation while ensuring strong paint adhesion and a consistent finish.
Three Lamps UV Dryer
This paint drying oven is specifically designed for UV coatings. It utilizes an optional multi-group light source system to trigger a photochemical reaction with the UV coating within 3 to 5 seconds, instantly curing it into a film; this significantly reduces drying time and saves space required for storing semi-finished products.
LED UV Curing Machine
This paint drying oven utilizes an eco-friendly, energy-efficient LED cold light source. Its light source boasts an extended service life and operates at a lower temperature, making it particularly well-suited for industries such as high-end solid wood veneer furniture, coil materials, and UV printing.
Nano Excimer UV Machine
The excimer UV machine combines expert LED UV lamps with nano-excimer UV lamps to induce a photochemical reaction, imparting a super-matte, soft-touch, and scratch-resistant finish to UV coatings on both edges and flat surfaces.
Infrared Heating Oven
Positioned between the coating machine and UV curing unit, this paint drying oven uses far-infrared radiation to heat coatings, ensuring a more uniform and smooth finish across workpieces. Meanwhile, a top-mounted exhaust fan continuously expels moisture and volatile organic compounds from the coating layer.
Hot Air Drying Oven
This paint drying oven heats air with ceramic radiation tubes, then delivers the hot air through oven-integrated air inlet knives onto the workpiece’s coating, enabling rapid evaporation of water vapor and quick drying of water-based coatings.
High Temperature Drying Oven
This paint drying oven features gold-plated medium-to-long-wave infrared lamps, rapidly and uniformly heating its cavity to 100–250°C. Built with high-temperature resistance and safety enhancements, it ensures stable operation and is ideal for high-temperature coating drying.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How to select the appropriate model of Paint Drying Oven, and what key parameters need to be considered?
-
The selection of the paint drying oven model should be based on your factory's actual production conditions, and the following key parameters must be considered to ensure the chosen model fully meets the production requirements.
Workpiece parameters: including the maximum and minimum size, weight, and material of the workpiece, which determine the inner dimensions, conveying load, and heating mode of the paint drying oven.
Coating parameters: including coating type (UV, solvent-based, water-based, powder, etc.), coating thickness, and curing process requirements (preheating, drying, cooling temperature and time), which determine the drying method, paint drying process, and oven length.
Production capacity: including the daily output of workpieces and the production mode (single-piece, batch, continuous production), which determine the total length of the drying oven, the speed of the conveying system, and the number of heating or curing modules.
Workshop conditions: including available space, power supply, and energy type (electricity, natural gas, steam, thermal oil) of the production workshop, determine the overall size, power configuration, and heating energy source of the paint drying oven.
As a professional manufacturer of automated coating equipment solutions, we will leverage over 20 years of industry expertise to recommend the optimal paint drying oven tailored to your unique production situation. Please feel free to contact us for any details.

How can we ensure uniform paint drying on complex-shaped workpieces like curved surfaces or hollow parts?
-
For UV coating curing, we provide a 3D stereoscopic curing machine with two top lamp sets, two side lamp sets and one bottom lamp set. Each set is fitted with a flip-type concentrating hood, enabling flexible adjustment of light source distance and irradiation angle, ensuring thorough curing of UV coatings on the top, bottom and edge surfaces of irregularly shaped workpieces.
Our infrared drying oven is equipped with adjustable infrared heating tubes, high-reflectivity reflectors and a thickened insulation layer. It delivers uniform heating to all surfaces and angles of irregular workpieces inside the oven, ensuring superior drying results.
The hot air drying oven features circulating hot air that quickly reaches the irregular contours and curved surfaces of workpieces to remove coating moisture. Its circulation function maintains a substantial air-workpiece humidity differential, effectively accelerating the drying process.
Additionally, if you require online double-sided coating and drying capabilities, we can customize a double-sided paint drying oven for you and provide relevant case studies for your reference.

What energy-saving designs are adopted in Paint Drying Ovens to reduce operating costs?
-
The actual energy consumption of the paint drying oven is related to the coating type, workpiece size and production capacity. In terms of equipment configuration, we have adopted the following energy-saving designs:
Frequency conversion control system: the fan, UV lamps, heating tubes, and conveying motors all use frequency conversion regulation, with power adjustable according to the actual production load.
High-efficiency heat insulation structure: the infrared and hot air oven's inner wall is fitted with thickened insulation layers (high-density aluminium silicate or rock wool), and the interior of the thermal insulation cover receives anti-rust and high-temperature-resistant treatment; the heat loss rate is maintained below 5%.
Waste heat recovery system: the hot air after heat exchange in the hot air drying oven is recycled and filtered, then retransmitted to the drying oven for secondary use, saving about 20% of heating energy consumption.
UV LED cold light source: replace traditional mercury or gallium lamps with UV LED light sources; energy consumption is only 10-50% of that of a mercury lamp, and service life is up to 10000-20000 hours.
Finally, if you require smart meters to track electricity consumption data for production management, we would be happy to provide customized solutions.
-
How to properly clean and maintain a Paint Drying Oven after daily work?
-
For UV curing machines, the light source system requires special attention. Standard mercury lamps have a typical service life of 1,000–2,000 hours, compared to 10,000–20,000 hours for LEDs. We recommend using an energy meter to monitor light source intensity and output, keeping daily tracking logs, and setting up a replacement schedule based on actual production conditions. For routine maintenance, cut off the main power supply first, then clean lamp tubes and reflector surfaces with anhydrous ethanol and gauze.
For other paint drying ovens, prioritize monitoring the energy output of infrared heating tubes and the operation of temperature sensors, fans and conveyor motors. In addition, lubricate transmission components (e.g., conveyor bearings and chains) regularly with high-temperature-resistant oil.
