Innovative Silver-Plated Glass Protective Coating Line

The silver-plated glass protective coating line is embedded and installed at the back end of the Low-e glass coating line. It is an integrated piece of equipment that applies a special coating layer on the silver plating layer. Consisting of a coating section and a curing section, it can achieve full-process automation of “precise coating – rapid curing” of the coating layer, and is compatible with the Low-e glass coating line at a production speed of 60m/min.

This innovative technology is applicable to double-silver, triple-silver, and quadruple-silver glass. Compared with traditional PE protective film applications and powder coating processes, this special UV coating demonstrates superior performance in enhancing the glass’s oxidation resistance, safeguarding the glass during stacking, transportation, and processing, improving glass utilization, reducing the time required for glass tempering, and decreasing energy costs.

Standard Configurations

Automatic Coating System

The automatic coating system is equipped with two sets of ultra-precision roller coating units, which can apply special UV coatings very evenly to the entire sheet or side-by-side Low-e glass at a high-speed conveying speed of 60m/min. The coating thickness can be flexibly adjusted by the gap between the rubber and steel rollers, and the equipment is equipped with a roller-group anti-collision protection device to prevent broken glass from damaging the equipment.

UV Curing System

The UV curing system consists of UV mercury lamp light sources and LED light sources. These work together to act on a special UV coating, enabling it to undergo photochemical reactions across different wavelengths, thereby achieving complete drying within seconds. The system employs both air and water cooling, significantly reducing energy consumption while stabilizing curing temperature and extending the lifespan of all light sources.

Paint Circulation System

The glass protective coating line is equipped with two paint supply units, featuring user-friendly functions such as paint heating, automatic replenishment, stirring, and overflow alarm. Paint is injected into the working coating rollers via a pneumatic pump. Excess paint that doesn't adhere to the glass surface is recycled into the paint bucket via a recovery system for reuse, preventing paint mist from spreading, improving paint utilization, and reducing paint costs.

Electric Control System

The operating system has multiple preset modes switchable with one click. It features a program interlock for safety, preventing startup until the alarm is cleared if a malfunction occurs. The independent electrical control cabinet meets IP43 standards and is equipped with industrial air conditioning for cooling. All electrical control circuits are concealed within insulated metal cable trays, meeting standardized industrial production requirements
